A hibachi chef turns the backyard into both the dinner table and the entertainment. Guests sit around the grill while the chef cooks, and each plate is served hot as it comes off. Kids are welcome: children 12 and under are $30 and choose one protein, while adults choose two. Every meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Children need active adult supervision near the grill.
Hosting in the Phoenix heat
From June through September, plan a start time after sunset. Shade, a covered patio or misters keep guests comfortable while the chef cooks. Summer monsoon storms can arrive in the evening, so have a covered area ready as a backup. We serve rain or shine, and we will plan the setup with you if a storm is expected.
Planning the space

How far in advance should we book?

Are you insured?
Yes. Fortune Hibachi is fully insured. If your rental or venue has its own requirements, please let us know when you book.
Do you cook inside the house?
Yes, we can. Most parties are cooked outdoors, but indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows. Please tell us about your space before booking so we can confirm a suitable cooking area for your event.
Can you serve a small group?
Smaller groups are welcome. Our $550 party minimum still applies, even if you have fewer than 10 guests. Please let us know your group size, and we’ll help you plan your meal.
Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?
Yes. We will avoid the ingredients that each guest tells us they are allergic to and take precautions to prevent cross-contact during preparation and cooking. Please let us know about all guests’ food allergies before booking so we can plan their meals accordingly. Because we cook in a mobile kitchen, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Do you clean up afterward?
Yes. With every hibachi dinner, we clean up our cooking area and pack away all of our equipment before we leave. We take great care of your home, and we promise to leave your space exactly as we found it. If you add our table setup service, we take care of everything from start to finish: we set the tables, clear them after the meal and handle all of the trash, so you can simply enjoy the evening with your guests.
What is included with each hibachi meal?
Each meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Adults choose two proteins, and children choose one. Your chef prepares the food right at your event, so you can relax and enjoy the experience with your guests.
How do I pay?
For your remaining balance, cash or Zelle is preferred and can be paid at the conclusion of your hibachi experience. We also accept major credit and debit cards for your convenience. Payment details will be confirmed prior to your event.
How do I reserve a date in Phoenix?
