Yes. Fortune Hibachi is fully insured. If your rental or venue has its own requirements, please let us know when you book.

Yes. If you’re hosting at a vacation rental or another venue, please check with the property owner or manager before booking to make sure outdoor hibachi cooking and open-flame equipment are allowed. Please share any property rules with us in advance so we can plan the setup with you.

Each meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Adults choose two proteins, and children choose one. Your chef prepares the food right at your event, so you can relax and enjoy the experience with your guests.

A cooking area for the chef and drinks for your guests. If you already have tables, chairs, plates and utensils, we are happy to use yours. If not, you can rent a table setup from us for $15 per person, with a $150 minimum. The rental includes tables, table covers, salad plates, dinner plates, plastic cutlery and napkins, and we handle the setup and cleanup. Please let us know when you book so we can add it to your estimate. The chef brings the grill, the ingredients and everything needed to cook.

Yes, we can. Most parties are cooked outdoors, but indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows. Please tell us about your space before booking so we can confirm a suitable cooking area for your event.

Yes. With every hibachi dinner, we clean up our cooking area and pack away all of our equipment before we leave. We take great care of your home, and we promise to leave your space exactly as we found it. If you add our table setup service, we take care of everything from start to finish: we set the tables, clear them after the meal and handle all of the trash, so you can simply enjoy the evening with your guests.

For summer events we suggest an evening start and a shaded setup. We serve rain or shine. If rain is in the forecast, tell us and we will plan the cooking setup with you.

Smaller groups are welcome. Our $550 party minimum still applies, even if you have fewer than 10 guests. Please let us know your group size, and we’ll help you plan your meal.

No—we do not use peanuts, tree nuts, sesame or sesame oil. Please let us know about every guest’s food allergies before booking so we can leave out any ingredients they need to avoid.

For your remaining balance, cash or Zelle is preferred and can be paid at the conclusion of your hibachi experience. We also accept major credit and debit cards for your convenience. Payment details will be confirmed prior to your event.
