San Tan Valley officially became a town in 2025, and many of its neighborhoods are full of families. A hibachi chef turns a birthday or a weekend get-together into dinner and a show in your own backyard, and nobody has to drive into the city for it.
Backyard setup
A flat patio, pool deck or driveway works well. If your yard is mostly gravel or desert landscaping, send a few photos with your request so we can plan the setup with you. Most parties are cooked outdoors, but indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows.
What the chef cooks
Kids choose one protein and adults choose two, from chicken, steak, shrimp and tofu. Every meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Add garlic noodles, extra rice or chicken wings to feed a big group. See the full menu.
Hosting in the summer heat
From June through September, start after sunset and set up near shade, a covered patio or misters. We serve rain or shine, so let us know if a storm is expected.

Are you insured?
Yes. Fortune Hibachi is fully insured. If your rental or venue has its own requirements, please let us know when you book.
What proteins can we choose?
You can choose chicken, steak, shrimp or tofu as your included proteins. For something extra, we offer filet mignon, scallops or salmon for an additional $5 per person, or lobster for an additional $10 per person. Please let us know your choices when finalizing your menu.
Do you use nuts or sesame products?
No—we do not use peanuts, tree nuts, sesame or sesame oil. Please let us know about every guest’s food allergies before booking so we can leave out any ingredients they need to avoid.
When do I confirm the final guest count and menu?
Please confirm your final guest count and menu at least 24 hours before your event so we can prepare for your guests. If you would like help choosing your menu, we’re happy to walk you through the options.
Can we cancel or reschedule?
There is no fee to cancel or reschedule. If your plans change, even at the last minute, please call or text us at (602) 597-9078 as soon as possible. We’ll help you cancel your reservation or check availability for a new date.
What is included with each hibachi meal?
Each meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Adults choose two proteins, and children choose one. Your chef prepares the food right at your event, so you can relax and enjoy the experience with your guests.
What if we have fewer than ten guests?
Smaller groups are welcome. Our $550 party minimum still applies, even if you have fewer than 10 guests. Please let us know your group size, and we’ll help you plan your meal.
Do you cook inside homes?
Yes, we can. Most parties are cooked outdoors, but indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows. Please tell us about your space before booking so we can confirm a suitable cooking area for your event.
Do you clean up after the event?
Yes. With every hibachi dinner, we clean up our cooking area and pack away all of our equipment before we leave. We take great care of your home, and we promise to leave your space exactly as we found it. If you add our table setup service, we take care of everything from start to finish: we set the tables, clear them after the meal and handle all of the trash, so you can simply enjoy the evening with your guests.
How do I pay?
For your remaining balance, cash or Zelle is preferred and can be paid at the conclusion of your hibachi experience. We also accept major credit and debit cards for your convenience. Payment details will be confirmed prior to your event.
