Cabin weekends and mountain trips
Flagstaff is a base for winter days at Arizona Snowbowl, summer escapes from the desert heat and trips to the Grand Canyon. When your group is staying in a cabin, a chef at the house means nobody has to drive into town for dinner after a day outside.
Cool mountain evenings
At about 7,000 feet, Flagstaff stays much cooler than the Valley. July highs average around 81°F and evenings often drop into the 50s, so bring a jacket for an outdoor dinner. We serve rain or shine, so tell us if storms are in the forecast and we will plan the cooking setup with you.
Setting up at a cabin or rental
Most parties are cooked outdoors on a deck, patio or driveway, and indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows. Before you book, check with the property owner or manager that outdoor hibachi cooking and open-flame equipment are allowed. During seasonal fire restrictions, also check the current local rules.
What the chef cooks
Adults choose two proteins from chicken, steak, shrimp and tofu, and children 12 and under choose one, all served with fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Filet mignon, scallops, salmon and lobster are available as upgrades. See the full menu.

Yes. Fortune Hibachi is fully insured. If your rental or venue has its own requirements, please let us know when you book.
Can you cook at our cabin or vacation rental?
Yes. If you’re hosting at a vacation rental or another venue, please check with the property owner or manager before booking to make sure outdoor hibachi cooking and open-flame equipment are allowed. Please share any property rules with us in advance so we can plan the setup with you.
Do you also serve Sedona?

What happens if it rains?
We provide service rain or shine! Please let us know if rain is expected so we can plan the cooking setup with you and keep your event running smoothly.
Can you accommodate other food allergies?
Yes. We will avoid the ingredients that each guest tells us they are allergic to and take precautions to prevent cross-contact during preparation and cooking. Please let us know about all guests’ food allergies before booking so we can plan their meals accordingly.
What is included with each hibachi meal?
Each meal includes fried rice, vegetables and a side salad. Adults choose two proteins, and children choose one. Your chef prepares the food right at your event, so you can relax and enjoy the experience with your guests.
What if we have fewer than ten guests?
Smaller groups are welcome. Our $550 party minimum still applies, even if you have fewer than 10 guests. Please let us know your group size, and we’ll help you plan your meal.
Do you cook inside homes?
Yes, we can. Most parties are cooked outdoors, but indoor cooking is also possible when the space allows. Please tell us about your space before booking so we can confirm a suitable cooking area for your event.
Do you clean up after the event?
Yes. With every hibachi dinner, we clean up our cooking area and pack away all of our equipment before we leave. We take great care of your home, and we promise to leave your space exactly as we found it. If you add our table setup service, we take care of everything from start to finish: we set the tables, clear them after the meal and handle all of the trash, so you can simply enjoy the evening with your guests.
How do I pay?
For your remaining balance, cash or Zelle is preferred and can be paid at the conclusion of your hibachi experience. We also accept major credit and debit cards for your convenience. Payment details will be confirmed prior to your event.
